*1.)Functional WebService TestingLocation: Dayton, OHDuration: 6-18 months*

Skill: 3+ Years; Responsible for testing of RESTful WebServices/ The
candidate should have some level of experience with HTTP protocols, XML,
WADL/WSDL, and schema validation.
Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software
problems and their causes. This position will be responsible for testing of
RESTful webservices against service requirements derived from business and
functional requirements. The candidate should have some level of experience
with HTTP protocols, XML, WADL/WSDL, and schema validation.

Education/Experience
o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant
field required
o 3+ years experience

Responsibility level
o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and
interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Review Business, Functional and Service Requirements, Placement of
Function and API designs and provide feedback
o Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures focused on positive
and negative scenarios
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report
defects to software developers
o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, or
content
o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
o Create or maintain databases of known test defects
o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or
delivery dates
o Communicate status and escalate risks as necessary

2.)Performance WebService Testing

Location: Dayton, OH
Duration: 6-18 months
Skill: RESTful, SOAP, UI Pro, Very Technical, XML DATA

As a Sr Performance Engineer, you will be part of a world class team
ensuring the performance, capacity, and reliability of our applications and
infrastructure serving a worldwide client base.  You will work in a fast
paced and highly technical collaborative team environment developing
innovative solutions for capacity and performance testing complex
multi-tiered applications.
As a Sr Performance Engineer your key roles and responsibilities include:
Being responsible for the development of test strategies for projects that
may span multiple products, technologies and test disciplines.
Working closely with LexisNexis and vendor resources to ensure test cases
and acceptance criteria adhere to requirements and are accurately validated
during the certification process.
Providing guidance and oversight for improvements to software measurement,
metrics and analytical techniques.

Key accountabilities are documented through performance objectives and may
include:
Work collaboratively with the business, architects, and developers to
define non-functional requirements (NFRs), identify gaps, assess
capability, and document risks.
Develop performance and capacity models.
Develop project estimates as part of the concept and project planning
process.
Define key metrics and instrumentation for measuring and monitoring
performance and capacity.
Identify trends through the use of metrics to forecast quality and release
readiness.
Design and implement performance and capacity testing solutions using a
variety of third party and custom tools in a distributed highly available
environment
Troubleshoot complex configuration, infrastructure, networking, and
application problems that could impact the performance or capacity of our
system.
Provide release performance assessments and proactively communicate risks
and dependencies which may impact the reliability, performance and/or
availability of the product.
Upon acceptance of this role, the selected internal candidate will be
required to sign an updated Non-Competition Agreement or Non-Solicitation
and Non-Disclosure Agreement as a condition of continued employment.

Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and
experience in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or related fields of
Engineering or IT.
4+ years of experience in performance engineering with commercial
business-oriented software applications
