Title : Network Design/Implementation Engineer Location : Manhattan, NY Duration : Long term Resume need 9+ yeraof experience Design/Implementation Engineer • Job Description: o Implement, design and support IPC’s flagship product Connexus – a Finance Industry Extranet o Implement customer network design (managed MPLS VPN IP network or managed Ethernet network) per pre-defined architectural template o Support specific customer network integration, including end-to-end network connectivity testing and failover testing o Develop customized solution for non-standard project requirement and document solution highlights in diagrams and word document o Trouble shooting complex network issues o Interact with other faucets of IPC project team, including Project Managers, Circuit Design Engineers, Sale’s Engineers and Support Engineers, to complete a customer project through its entire life cycle • Skills: o MLPS IP VPN: understanding MLPS IP VPN including Route Target import and export, understanding the difference between BGP IPv4 versus BGP VPNv4 o Routing: understanding of commonly deployed protocols, such as: BGP, RIPv2 and HSRP o IP Address and NAT: understanding IP subnet, understanding key NAT options, such as: PAT, dynamic NAT and static NAT o QoS: understanding commonly deployed industry QoS strategies, including bi- or tri-color packet classification, Cisco’s hierarchical QoS implementation, understanding key differences between shaping, policing, queuing and buffering o Ethernet Technology: understanding of various Ethernet transport technology, such as Ethernet over TDM, Ethernet over SONET and Ethernet over DWDM; understanding of industry terminology, such as: EPL, EVPL, ELAN; understanding the difference between 802.1q and QinQ tunnel • Desired Qualification and Experience (plus not mandatory) o 5 years of industry experience in Ethernet and IP networking environment o Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering fields o CCNA, CCNP or other equivalent industry certifications o The ideal candidate should be a team player, be flexible working off hours, be calm under pressure, be customer focused and with strong communication skills *Thanks & Best Regards* *Geeta,* *Oberon IT Inc,* 1404W.
