Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* SQl DBA Location : SanAntonio Duration : Long term Rate : $45 This is Back fill position Environment • MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, and 2012 running on MS Windows 2003, 2003 R2, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012. • MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - optional Role and Responsibilities • Assist with both Application and Database Infrastructure teams to integrate efficiently for any issues, deployment and environment availability. • Support on Microsoft SQL Server Cluster configuration, Alwayon configuration • Responsible for activities including but not limited to administration, upgrades and backup/recover of SQL databases. • Working in conjunction with database, storage, OS and application administrators, as well as internal customers on database issues. • Responsible for database compliance with standards • Performance tuning of SQL databases and Transact-SQL queries. Provide technical support and performance tuning in conjunction with applications, systems and storage administrators. This includes trouble-shooting technical and performance problems with client connectivity, applications, and reports. • Implement monitoring procedures to maximize availability and performance of the database systems/instances, while meeting defined targets. Enforce corporate standards across all databases. Monitors and audits security logs, and other related resources in an effort to provide a secure and robust system environment. Maintain, test, and executes as required, disaster recovery operations and quarterly test drills. • Assisting and maintaining corporate change control policies and procedure. Responsible for Change Management by ensuring that all requests for change are documented, approved and implemented the same across all levels (development, test, and production). Coordinate off-hour changes and manage controls. Assist to update configuration, support, and process and procedure (best practices) documentation. • Provide Rotational 24 x 7 on call support; working with other experienced administrators on maintenance of environment. • Working effectively in a multi-team environment. • Other Tools experience, RegGate, Litespeed, Zenoss and other SQL DBA Administration tools Qualification • Minimum 5 years of experience is required related to duties listed above. • Excellent interpersonal and written & verbal communication skills illustrated through work experience Thanks & regards Moiz Khan Allied Informatics Inc. 1815 Satellite Blvd. Suite 302 Duluth, GA 30097 USA.
