Project is building out the desktop front-end of commodity risk management quoting system. The ideal candidate can work independently, has excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Team consists of about 20 developers, working in groups of 2-3. This contractor will be a key person to develop WPF application with MVVM design principles, communicate with back-end JSON based web services, and mentor other developers on WPF/XAML technology. Required: • 7+ years developing .Net applications in C# • 5+ years using Object oriented design and OO Patterns • Strong understanding of WPF concepts, WPF controls, custom controls and styles, XAML, MVVM and MVC design patterns • Ability to clearly communicate with technical leaders - verbal and written • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries/schemas. (Oracle preferred) • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
