*Job Title: Performance Tester * *Location: San Jose, CA * *Duration: 6+ months* *Qualifications*: · Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred. *Experience/Skills:* · 7+ yrs experience working on performance testing and engineering of large scale web applications. · 5+ yrs of experience on any load testing tool for load generation and profiling (Jmeter, HP Performance Center etc.). · Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools such as* Foglight, New Relic etc.* · Hands-on experience with performance and load testing *JVM based applications* on the cloud. · Deep knowledge of Java (or equivalent) programming language and design patterns from a performance point of view. · Deep understanding of cloud based *RESTful web services*. · Experience in profiling code for performance issues. · Experience in Unix. · Strong written, oral & presentation skills. *Preferred Qualifications:* · Experience in developing/using custom performance frameworks. · Knowledge of web protocols, networking and systems. · Experience in performance testing applications running on Android. · Familiarity with performance and load testing on the Amazon EC2 Cloud would be a plus.
