Evaluate the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the clients business requests and needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead a project or group. Start Time: 8:30 AM Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm Education: Additional Job Details: MUST-HAVES: - Data mapping - Migrating data - User acceptance testing (wirting test script) - Gathering Business requirements - Past Insurance Experience (life and long term care) ----- IMPORTANT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE MANAGER: We are looking for folks who can liaise with the Business / Operations SMEs (verbally and through email) to effectively gather Business User Requirements (experience with translating to systems requirements is very helpful but the ability to capture the requirements from a business / user perspective is extremely important). Here is a general list of the tasks (skill sets) we need: • Experience with vendor management / implementing new vendor applications within an organization. ****BAs who only have experience with system "enhancements" would probably not be a good fit. • Gap Analysis (looking at existing systems and comparing functionality to new vendor systems to determine if "out of the box" functionality is sufficient or what customization may be needed to support current business processes / service delivery) • Knowledge of data mapping / migration (though the actual execution will be handled by our IT department) • User Acceptance Testing (writing scripts, documenting / reporting bugs, providing oversight to testers) • Experience in the Life and Long Term Care Insurance Industry • Process / Workflow Mapping (Visio) *** A general understanding of Life & LTC would be very helpful in this regard.
