Please send resumes to [email protected] Infrastructure PM’s (2 Roles) Location: Duluth GA Duration: 6 months Candidates need to have strong experience in -managing large data center -data center consolidation and move -implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications -experience with application hosting environments like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure -strong understanding of data center virtualization environments like VMWare POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: The program manager will plan, lead, and direct all aspects of key SaaS data center migration(s). Candidate must have demonstrated experience with data center selection, infrastructure selection, infrastructure procurement, infrastructure deployments, data center migrations, and data center operations. Candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge of data center technologies and key vendors including server processors, storage, and networking. Candidate must also demonstrate a strong capability to manage multiple projects as a single program. This should include regular status updates at executive levels. Basis understanding of data center/IT security concepts and technologies is also required. A broad understanding of application technologies and application hosting within data centers is needed as well. The ideal candidate will be energetic, aggressive, and demonstrate strong and proactive ownership of the program to drive forward very rapidly. The candidate will also need to work effectively with business/IT leaders and teams that may have differing priorities and agendas. - Position reports to the Vice President, SaaS Data Center Strategy - Program management of multiple project tracks and project managers - Project management of one of more project tracks - Participates in the data center location selection - Identifies and communicates overall plans for new SaaS data center setup and migrations in to this center from other legacy data center(s) - Responsible for related program/project metrics - Adheres to the IT strategic architecture guidelines and process - Adheres to the CLIENT Information Security guidelines and policies - Actively consults with current SaaS data center leaders to layout and manage the migration plans and related resources - Direct or indirect management of people (targeted team size of 3-5 onshore resources & budget) - Vendor management of infrastructure suppliers Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as Computer Science or MIS, and 8-10 years of related experience - Proven experience involving complex projects deployed across a geographically dispersed organization with multiple dependencies - Experience managing data center migrations and/or data operations - Excellent people management skills - Strong understanding of program and project management disciplines and tools - Strong understanding of data center technologies, processes, and operations - Strong financial tracking and management - Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate up, down, and across the organization - Ability to travel periodically, primarily within the U.S. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's Degree in project management or PMP certification - Experience implementing and managing SaaS applications - Experience with application hosting environments like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure - Strong understanding of data center virtualization environments like VMWare -- With Warm Regards Chava *Phone*:Direct: *512-298-3758*, 713-234-5905 * 101 *Email*: [email protected] *Gtalk*: [email protected] *Linkedin*: in.linkedin.com/pub/chava-anutharang/97/8b8/675/ - -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
