*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * *Job Title: .Net Developer w/TelerikLocation: NYCDuration: 12 MonthsDirect Client PositionIn person interviewClient: DOITT/SBSAGENCY MISSION: The Department of Small Business Services (SBS) makes it easier for companies in New York City to form, do business and grow by providing direct assistance to business owners, fostering neighborhood development in commercial districts, promoting financial and economic opportunity among minority- and women-owned businesses, preparing New Yorkers for jobs and linking employers with a skilled and qualified workforce.PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The SBS Technology Unit has built a .NET application called Worksource1 to serve as the primary system used by Agency program units to deliver workforce and business development services. Worksource1 supports customer service delivery and total business operations with functionalities that include case management and assessment tools, management reporting capabilities, and performance monitoring. The current release contains several case management modules that are streamlined to support workflow in the NYC Workforce1 Career Centers and other service delivery locations. Data captured in Worksource1 is transferred to the New York State Department of Labor’s (NYSDOL) State-wide case management system, called the One Stop Operating System (OSOS) through a series of XML based API’s on a weekly basis.Over the next year, SBS has planned several major enhancements to Worksource1. These enhancements will require changes to the interface between Worksource1 and OSOS. For example, the interface must be modified so that new data elements captured in Worksource1 can be exchanged with OSOS.SBS is seeking a Senior ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> Developer to work with our Technology Unit on the development the modifications to the interface between Worksource1 and OSOS.Responsibilities will include:1. Develop a design document for the application2. Develop code to support business process and business requirements3.
