The Network Engineer/ Security Engineer will be responsible for the
implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate MAN, WAN, LAN
and Firewall architecture.
*Responsibilities:*
Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to
design, integration, and installation of hardware and software
Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and
on-site.
Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as
firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Troubleshoot & support networking concepts and protocols such as:
VLAN/PVLAN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, IP sub-netting, routing. Increasing
understanding of a wider set of protocols and advanced technologies
Engineer network security components such as firewalls, VPN, load
balancers, IPS/IDS
Proficient understanding and experience using configuration management
and/or diagnostic tools, monitoring applications and performance analysis
tools
Will configure, test and troubleshoot on platforms like Check
Point, Juniper
Netscreen, F5 LTM/GTM
Experience with DDOS and traffic mitigation techniques
Day to day troubleshooting, MAC, cable patching
Good communication skill, team player
Required: (Any of the following)
• Certification in Checkpoint Firewalls (CCSA/CCSE)
• Certification in Netscreen firewall
• Cisco Routers (CCDP/CCNP)
