contract position



*Job Title: SharePoint Technical Lead*

*Location: Addison TX*

*Duration: 12+Months*



The *SharePoint Technical Lead* is responsible for leading the analysis,
design, development and testing of Microsoft SharePoint applications with a
MS SQL Server backend.



*Responsibilities *

• Work with various departments company-wide to develop systems according
to expectations of the users

• Create applications according to specifications or general business
requirements which are provided by internal users

• Develop custom lists, sites, and document libraries (understanding of
taxonomy and SharePoint Best Practices vital)

• Develop, design and manage content, customizations, webparts, forms, and
workflow in SharePoint 2013

• Utilize SharePoint, Microsoft, and third-party development tools
integrated with SharePoint 2013

• Create quality technical documentation including architecture,
requirements and test documentation

• Facilitate meetings with the client, users and the development team



*Skills *

• Familiar with SharePoint Taxonomy, Metadata, Content Management,
Collaboration, Custom Web Parts, Reports, Search, InfoPath Services, Master
Pages, Content Types, Features, Active Directory

• Understanding of SharePoint Architecture (i.e., farm topology; managed
paths; site collections; sites, etc.)

• Ability to analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define
the solution, and translate that into designs and programming work

• Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external customers
possessing various levels of technical knowledge. Ability to determine the
underlying issue when presented with sometimes confusing and contradictory
information; listening skills.

• Must have “can do” attitude and be able to work independently

• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Internet Explorer, Chrome,
Firefox and other display/security/configuration issues with end-user
browsers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to
handle multiple priorities on aggressive timelines
