The current infrastructure consists of a range of NetApp filers running Data OnTap 8 in both 7 and cluster mode. Replication is setup between data centers. Provide support in the infrastructure space with responsibility for the Storage Infrastructure Environment. The NetApp Storage Operations technician will be responsible for the support and availability of the NAS solution in the Northern Trust environment. The current infrastructure consists of a range of NetApp filers running Data OnTap version 8 in both 7 and cluster mode. Replication is setup between data centers. The technician will work daily with offshore personnel to ensure that 7x24 support is provided for the Storage operations group. Also responsible for capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security where necessary and should Have extensive experience with operating systems, network protocols, systems programming and configurations, and/or switches, and routers. These individuals have extensive experience with large-scale enterprise environments and the related HW/SW issues. At least 5 years NetApp and 7+ overall storage experience - Knowledge of DataOnTap 7 and cluster mode - Knowledge of Vfilers, CIFS, NFS, Snapshot, SnapMirror, Snaprestore - Must have prior experience with designing, planning, and setting up enterprise-wide storage systems - Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement preventative measures - Support and maintain a Disaster Recovery Infrastructure utilizing array based replication technologies - Document the environment and create/maintain NAS procedures - Experience with Exchange and SharePoint a plus - Experience with SAN fabric technologies - Brocade switches preferred - Experience with other storage solutions – HDS, EMC, IBM storage experience a plus - Isilon experience a plus *Lisa Dutt* *Desk No : 609-935-3773 Ext 102* *[email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
