*Title:Java Developer* *Location:Tampa FL* *Duration:1 year contract to hire* *EAD, GC or Citizens * Required Skills: • Development experience in JAVA/J2EE technologies – Core Java, Webservices, Multi-threading, Struts, XML, J2EE (EJB, JSPs, Servlets), Hibernate, Oracle 11g, LDAP and Groovy • Prior working experience in developing highly configurable applications in java/j2ee • Should have done multiple implementations in a technology area including complex high-level designs for multiple modules - at the subsystem level, development of low level design that captures proper data structuring for all modules, efficient algorithms, & effective error handling, Coding, Unit Testing, Testing and fixing during integration phases • Communicate well within the team and in customer interaction for technical discussions • Technical leadership of the team – driving activities related to module under his/her umbrella • Must inculcate best practices in his/her work and drive the team towards them as well • Must inculcate stringent code review practices • Must have an analytic approach towards resolving issues, particularly production issues Preferred Skills: • Experience in Unit, Regression, Functional and performance testing • Version Control Software –CVS • Working knowledge of Weblogic • Knowledge of network protocols TL1, SNMP, CLI will be a plus • Experience in XSLT, XML Parsing and other data transport protocols • Experience in JUnits, PMD • Ability to effectively coach team members to enhance their roles • Above average command of spoken and written English • Good customer orientation skills and ability to effectively present solutions to the customer *Thanks & Best Regards* *Geeta,* *Oberon IT Inc,* 1404W.
