*Job Title: Microstrategy Developer * *Start Date: ASAP* *Duration: 6 to 12 months* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Description* Will work closely to understand business data and reporting requirements and support Risk reporting solution using Netezza and MicroStrategy platform. Responsible for analysis, design, development and troubleshooting of MicroStrategy reporting solutions. Should be capable of leading a team of developers, both onshore and offshore. *Job duties include:* · Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for Data warehouse and BI development in conjunction with end users and other stakeholders. · Maintain and enhance physical, semantic and presentation models · Design, test, and implement Business Intelligence solution using components of MicroStrategy Platform. · Create Functional and Technical Specifications based on business requirements · Provide requirements analysis, design, and technical delivery of critical business reports using MicroStrategy 9.3.X. · Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation for new and existing report objects · Understand and develop metadata for MicroStrategy report components. · Collaborates with team and business customers for optimal short and long-term solutions. · Provide consulting to users and other developers on how to effectively design and deploy BI solutions and user adhoc reporting needs. · Provide consulting to users and other developers on how to effectively design and deploy BI solutions · Perform impact analysis on functional and semantic designs to ensure solution meets performance requirements · Ability to work with key team members to ensure solution meets the business requirements · Work with the Business users in the region and acts as reporting SME to ensure solutions meet the business requirements · Should be familiar with both Agile and waterfall development model *Skills Required:* · 7+ years of hands on experience with the Micro Strategy tool suite · 6+ years of Data warehouse experience · Experience using MicroStrategy Tool Suites including (Micro Strategy Intelligence Server, Narrowcast Server, Desktop, Web and Administrator, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, SDK, Object Manager, Integrity Manager). · Experience in Creating Schema Objects (facts, attributes, Hierarchies, Transformations) to Develop User Objects. · Strong MicroStrategy schema modeling · Good SQL skills and experience with ETL/ ELT platform like Teradata or Netezza. · Experience in performance tuning MicroStrategy reports and documents. · Exceptional problem solving, business analysis, data analysis, and communication skills · Strong background in analyzing business requirements and convert them in functional/technical specifications for designing and building a data warehouse and ELT solution *Thanks & Best Regards* *Geeta,* *Oberon IT Inc,* 1404W.
