*Job Description:*

Looking for a Front-end Architect that is passionate about architecting
great websites and frameworks, and will help us evolve our next generation
web platform. The front-end development team has been crafting great
responsive websites using HTML5 and CSS3 recently, but now we are looking
go even further. Our team is growing quickly and we need an architect to
help guide the creation our front-end framework that will be used by our
entire community of developers. The ideal candidate should have a strong
understanding of NodeJS (Client-side/Server-side), BackboneJS/AngularJS and
should have used a Javascript template system, as well as an understanding
of communication with back-end services built with REST and spring. This is
an opportunity to be on the ground-floor, helping us to create a team and a
process to drive cultural change within our organization.

*Ideal candidate:*

Should have a solid understanding of SDLC.
Should have an eagerness to learn new things and think outside the box.
You have experience building large scale Javascript based applications
using NodeJS and Backbone/AngularJS.
Have experience building Hybrid Mobile applications using technologies like
Phonegap/Cordova
you’re using current development tools like Grunt, Yeoman, JSPM, and SASS.
You want to create code that can be done once, and run anywhere
(Mobile/Desktop/Serv​er,​ etc)
An understanding of testing applications with Karma/Mocha/Chai and Selenium.
You take web standards and performance seriously.

*What you’ll be working on*:
developing the new front-end framework that will be used by other
developers to craft consistent and unified user experiences.
Documenting and publishing technical documentation about the framework so
that other developers can utilize the new framework.
Collaborate on multiple projects to ensure that front-end code is created
in a standard way, following strict performance and accessibility
guidelines.
Work with the User Experience team to help craft a standard component
library that can be used on multiple project
Mentor a growing team of Junior and Mid-level Front-end Developers on how
best to build high performance, highly accessible and standardized
front-end code.

Javascript: NodeJS/ExpressJS (Server/Client), BackboneJS, AngularJS, Dust,
Marionette
HTML5/CSS3/SASS and Responsive Design
Mobile: Phonegap / Apache Cordova
Packages/Build: NPM, JSPM, Grunt, YeoMan, Jenkins
Source Control: GIT, GitHub, GitHub Enterprise
Testing: Karma, Mocha, Chai, Selenium, WebdriverIO
OS: Windows 7, Ubuntu, OSX
