This individual will participate on concept design through delivery and post launch support. Web applications will be for internal use as well as used for our external sites. *Responsibilities:* Develop, debug and maintain web applications using VB.NET. Expected to be able to work independently on tasks, but will take direction from Senior Developers, Project Managers and Management. Collaborate with other developers in a team atmosphere to deliver a complete project from start to finish. Participate in entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production and support. Work alongside web designers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the applications. Work with the designers & end users to build the interface with focus on usability features. Optimize performance for the web applications. Monitor error emails and logs in order to investigate, respond, and fix issues as necessary Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends in the .NET technologies. *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred or equivalent experience Experience with web service integration (SOAP, Knockout, JSON, XML) and development using web technologies. Experience with client-side technologies – JavaScript, jQuery, CSS Understanding of Object-Oriented programming and design patterns Familiar with SQL Server and consuming stored procedures Possesses sound analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills Excellent scoping, estimation, and testing/QA skills Ability to multi-task and practice good time management skills, both individually and as part of a team.
