*Network Engineer*

This person will assist a core team responsible for the company IP address
/ DNS Name Space changes required prior to the company split.



The duration of this contract will extend October 31, 2015, which is when
the first phase needs to be completed ( initial designated
officer/executives have been moved to new subnet) and continuing engagement
work after, separation completion for up to 1 year.

*Rate is around $50/hr on C2C*

Time frame start ASAP, subject to selected candidates start availability.



*(The Rub is that they really want someone with HP Procurve switches and
routers with F5 Load Balancer. Typically most Network engineers have Cisco
Switches and Routers however client may consider anyone with good F5
experience here recently.) *



*Network Engineer resource familiar with HP networking equipment to support
the Hewlett Packard company separation activities for Enterprise Group R&D
Labs.   *



Main focus of role  additional details listed below the last bullet point

*DNS / IPAM*

•             Allocation of IP addresses for hosts and subnets

•             Vast experience in network Address Management

•             F5 LTM/GTM configuration

•             Experience installing and managing NIPS/HIPS

•             Configuration of network monitoring tools for alerting and
reporting

•             Perform periodic documentation tasks relating to SAS70 and
PCI compliance

•             Maintain up-to-date inventory of all network infrastructure
equipment

•             Manage internal and external DNS and domain registration

•             Hands on experience with IP Address Management Tools /
Allocations considered a bonus



*Skills:*

·         ID where documentation is needs to be created or updated, with
regards to Firewalls  i.e. if needs to be upgraded, how many licenses are
active and make recommendations

·         Assist in duplication of network for company split

·         Will need to be familiar with various types of network
infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, IPS, etc) and SW licensing.

·         Person will be *required to identify inventory of network*
infrastructure
that will require replacement or upgrade (HW, SW, license) during company
separation activities.

·         Apply technical *logic and understanding of what is being*
discussed w/regards to HP subnets
