· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of experience in IT Solution Delivery and architecture
· 5+ years of full-lifecycle application development experience
· Deep understanding of industry patterns for application
architecture and integration
· 3+ years of experience in building multi-tier applications
· Must have experience with all of the following: Transformation
layer, Business logic, Business data, & Integration layer,
Authorization/Authentication (Security Framework)
· Strong experience in Health Care Business processes (Claims,
Provider, Eligibility, etc.)
· Experience in creating and managing Universal Description,
Discovery and Integration (UDDI)
· Experience in building and creating Service registry
· Ability to model using Architecture modeling tools (ABACUS /
ALFABET)
· Agile development experience
· Experience with SOA Lifecycle, Maturity Model and defining SOA
Strategy (SOA Delivery Strategies)
· Strong experience with the following technologies: Core Java,
SOA, JEE, Middle-tier technologies, ESB, Message Broker, Eclipse, XML,
Servlets/JSP, MVC architecture
· Strong ability to define Domain Models & Service Models
· Experience with Service Contracts and Modeling coarse grained
(orchestrated) and fine-grained Services
· Clear understanding of Web services approach including Web
service protocols such as SOAP and REST
*Responsibilities:*
· You will collaborate with the business to understand/influence
business requirements
· You will demonstrate understanding of
cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact
· You will maintain knowledge of current and emerging
technologies/products/trends related to architectural solutions
· You will ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT
goals/objectives
· You will identify and quantify scope and impact of business
changes on systems
· You will facilitate/lead/participate in identification of
solution options and features
· You will communicate solution options to business
owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews)
· You will incorporate software and system architecture (e.g.
infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs
· You will ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards
(e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps,
capital plans)
· You will identify gaps between established standards and proposed
solutions, and follow the exception/waiver process as needed
· You will maintain awareness of current technology assets and the
capability of each
· You will understand and adhere to architecture Governance
framework
· You will deliver all project deliverables on scope, on time and
on budget
