Position: Lead Informatica Location: San Ramon, CA Job Description: Key skills required for the job are: - Informatica Powercenter(Mandatory) - ETL(Mandatory) - Oracle - PL-SQL - Unix Shell Scripting 8+ years Hands-on experience in design and development of large scale Enterprise ETL environment using ORACLE Database and Informatica. Develop SQL programs and Stored Procedures as required for the ETL processes and Data Integration activities Strong programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL and databases. Strong experience in Performance Tuning and developing High Volume Data Loads required. Must be an expert in writing advance SQL, advanced PL/SQL programming . Must be an expert in Database design using Oracle database . Should be able to work with Data Architect and influence Database design . Must have extensive experience in tuning the SQL, PLSQL code for optimum performance. Must have extensive experience in working with Oracle Analytical functions. Hands on Experience with UNIX scripting (FTP, SFTP and Keys exchange, Shell Scripting) Provide support to technical team, write the necessary required documentation as per the company standards for ETL processes, and develop unit test plan, test cases and resolve ETL related issues. Work with the application teams to understand the nature of ETL interfaces and the architecture of the application. Design the appropriate interface interactions for each, while being aware of opportunities for reuse and standardization of interactions across applications. Develop ETL application using Informatica Power Center to load large amount of data from multiple data sources into Data Repository using Oracle,DB2,XML,Flat files etc. Experience with interacting/proposing solutions to both technical and non technical resources. Proficient in data analysis and problem solving. Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills are required.
