*Please send resume to **s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com>* Job Title: SQL Server DBA Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: FDOT *In person interview* This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (SQL Server, Oracle) planning and operational activities for BSSO including, but not limited to the following: Daily operational and database administration activities Plan, design, implement, support for database structures Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation Perform SQL Code reviews Assist with training/mentoring DBAT staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested. Experience with Azure SQL is a plus. Experience with DB2 for z/OS is a plus. The candidates considered for this position must be capable of independent work success, have good communication skills, and disciplined to follow BSSO processes and procedures. The candidate must be able to hit the ground running in a minimal amount of time. ADVANCED DBA Skill and 5 years combined experience in database administration for SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 Experience with Oracle 10g and above is a plus Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of relational database management systems Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large Enterprise database production issues or problems, with little or no assistance, and to make decisions and recommendations to remediate those issues or problems Knowledge of Relational Database Management principles, design and practices Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower level database analysts.
