Greetings,

I'm the technical lead for the open-vm-tools ports to SCO platforms. SCO
has released
SCO OpenServer 5.0.7V for VMware, its first in the line of virtualized
versions of its family
of UNIX operating systems (for additional info see
http://www.sco.com/products/unix/virtualization/).

Included in this release is open-vm-tools 2009.06.18-172495. The
original source code, build
instructions,, and OpenServer 5.0.7V patches used are available at:

ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver507v/507v/opensrc/vmtools-2009.06.18-172495-OSR507V-src.tar.gz

A README describing the contents of this archive is also available at:

ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver507v/507v/opensrc/vmtools-2009.06.18-README.txt

After extracting the compressed tar archive, the OpenServer 5.0.7V
patches used in this release
can be found at vmtools/patches/open-vm-tools-2009.06.18-172495-osr5.patch

The open-vm-tools project is impressive, complex, remarkably stable, and
evolving. I hope these
patches can contribute to the future development of the project in
support of additional platforms.

Let me know if patch submissions need to be in a different format or
prepared in a different manner.
These patches were prepared with GNU "diff -u ..." and can be applied
with GNU patch.

Thanks,
-rr-
