This is just a heads up for some small changes in the open-vm-tools release
process starting with the next release.

If you use the tar files released on the SourceForge "download" section, then
things will still look exactly the same to you. If by any chance you're using
git to get to the code, then you may see a few different things.

Notably, instead of a large check in at the end of every month leading up to a
release, we'll be doing more granular check ins based on our internal
development. As a result, the "ChangeLog" file will not have a whole lot of
information about changes going forward - you'll be able to get that information
by looking at the git logs.

The only adverse effect this might cause is having the build be broken by some
code checked in in between releases; we'll try to keep the tip of the tree in a
"buildable" state at all times, though.

We hope that this will provide better information about the changes going into
open-vm-tools, and also make it easier to integrate contributed code back into
the project (which is a manual and non-trivial process, for us, today).

Feel free to ask any questions.
