CALL FOR PARTICIPATION ====================== The 2010 Open64 Developers Forum
Date: August 25, 2010 (right after the Hot Chips Conference) Location: HP Campus, Cupertino, CA Website: http://dynopt.ece.udel.edu/open64 We invite you to participate in the Open64 Developers Forum taking place on Wednesday, August 25. The forum is composed of 13 presentations from both industry and academia about recent or on-going research & development work using the Open64 compiler infrastructure. Furthermore, we are honored to invite Mike Murphy, Gautam Chakrabarti and Xiangyun Kong from NVIDIA to give the keynote speech titled "Why is a Graphics Company Like NVIDIA Using Open64?". The forum is shaped to encourage participation from community members. Two special events about the Open64 community are included in the program. The first is the update about the status and the current agendas of the Open64 Steering Group (OSG). Shin-Ming Liu and Suneel Jain will lead the discussion. The second event is a panel discussion about "What and how can the Open64 community collaborate more closely?". This year marks the tenth anniversary of Open64 after SGI put Pro64 out as open source in the year of 2000. A considerable amount of work has been performed with the Open64 compiler infrastructure over the last decade. We look forward to hearing a number of significant projects and encouraging results at this forum. This forum will be a registration-fee-free event, but registration will be required for attendance with details at the forum website.
