Update on the 4.2.4 release planned for end of March 2011:
- We entered stage 2 (bug fixes only) on Feb 1. There have been
a lot of defects fixed since then. I would like to thank everyone
who has checked in defect fixes so far and helped close out many
defects. If there are specific defects that are still open and you view
them as critical, please let me know I can try to ensure they get
addressed before we release 4.2.4 .
- The stage 2 (defect fixes) is currently planned to end on March 20.
Since the defect fixes are going very well, I would like to pull that
up to March 10 and finish defect fixing for the release by then.
- I would like to request help with running of the various test suites.
Please send email about which test suites you are running and
the results you are seeing with the current trunk sources.
Regards,
- Suneel
