Specific memory spaces improve ptxas by providing coarse aliasing info, and in
a couple cases are slightly faster (arch-dependent).

Subject: [Open64-devel] [NVISA] Generic address space

Dear colleagues,

Question: why nvopencc favors operations on particular memory address
spaces, rather than generic address space? I.e. why LDS/LDL/STS/STL
are preferred over generic LD/ST? What is the performance and/or
optimization benefit here?

Thanks,
- Dima.
