This is Wei Huo, from Advanced Compiling Technology Lab, Institute of
Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
For the sake of parallelization and program analysis, we need compilable and
rannable c files generated by the whirl2c(W2C) phase.
We have been working on improving the W2C phase in Open64 for more than 3
years.
So far, all c files of "Super Test" can pass the W2C phase and more than 99%
of the generated files are compilable with
major optimization options: O0, O1, O2, O3 (all with and without ipa).
In addition, about 99% of the generated files can be compiled into
executable files which run without errors.
Due to limited labor and funding, it's unlikely for us, alone, to improve
the W2C phase further with high quality and speed.
Thus we'd like to share our distribution of W2C and want to know:
1. in what way we should share our distribution
2. if there are people interested in developing the W2C phase as well and
interested in a cooperation with us.
3. how to continuously develop and improve the W2C phase along with other
components
