Hi,
we are trying to implement this for IBM AFS servers, using simple
scriptology.
In a nutshell, we are going to replace salvager with script that will touch
/usr/afs/local/SALVAGE.fs and exit, so bosserver will proceed to start
fileserver. When fileserver starts, another script would run salvager for
not attached volumes only.
Have anyone tried to do it ever?
