Hi!
I've built sendmail 8.11.4 with SASL support using Cyrus SASL 1.5.24. I've
built both binaries under Solaris 8 with 64 bit support. SASL offers PAM as
one of its authentication mechanisms (as part of PLAIN). Now I can use
sendmail's SMTP AUTH feature with the plain mechanism and PAM support as
long as I only use Sun's 64-bit /usr/lib/security/sparcv9/pam_unix.so.1.
But I'd also like to use pam_afs.so.1. OpenAFS 1.0.4 seems to come with
some 64-bit support (libafs64.nonfs.o), but the PAM module seems to be
32-bit only.
Has this changed in more recent releases? If not, is this forthcoming?
Or do I misunderstand the situation? As far as I can tell the setup I've
described won't work with the 32-bit module... Of course I could recompile
eveyrthing using 32-bit, but I don't really want to.
Thanks and greetings, Sebastian
