For WinNT and Win2000, there is a "Network Provider" interface which
gets called during login with the user's password. I'm not sure if the
same interface exists for Win9x/ME.
I understand that the Windows AFS code instantiates a Network Provider,
gets the username and password and invokes klog under the covers.
