I'm bringing up a machine with Redhat 7.2 with the 2.4.19-pre7 kernel. (The newer kernel is needed for network device support.) I've got version 1.2.3 of OpenAFS built from source.
I'm creating a new cell. After creating root.afs and starting the client, if I do an "ls -al /afs" I get an error "ls: /afs/.: Stale NFS file handle". This seems to be due to some changes in the link_path_walk() routine in the kernel? Is this a known problem?
