I would love to have a copy of your script changes to the build process. I have been working on a minor overhaul of the same thing. In particular I've add the ability to compile into separate folders; hence, you can build several versions without separate copies of the source. The script allow you to do this on a local drive.
The changes should be ready in a couple days and it does touch each ntmakefile in the tree. The changes support both V7 and V6, & Win9x. I will submit the scripts for Install Shield since they have given us permission to publish under IBM's open source definition.
