Sounds like a bug which should be submitted to Apple.

In the meantime, we'll just have to come up w. an alternative version number scheme for os x, it would seem.

Seems to work great on Darwin/Mac OS X, although there's going to be a problem with the final release: The Darwin kernel extension framework only accepts kernel extensions with single-digit patchlevels. Setting the CFBundleVersion property to "1.2.10" is going to cause OpenAFS to fail to load.


I'm not sure what the appropriate fix to this is.
