I have a W2k insallation with openAFS 1.2.9a, but the afs client don't
start and returns with Error 42A.
the log file shows:
The description for Event ID ( 1008 ) in Source ( AFS Client ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. The following information is part of the event: Integrated
login failed: .
and
The description for Event ID ( 226 ) in Source ( AFS Client ) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. The following information is part of the event: Error at file
afsd_service.c, line 226: unknown error.
Any help welcome I removed and reinstalled several times but the error
is still the same.
