dear openafs'ers,
you may remember that i initiated a conversation in approx 2000
about how DFS and AFS might share common ground one day: it sparked
an interesting discussion about the history of both, leading
to the conclusion "errrrmmmm... unlikely".
at the time, the issue of _whether_ to use DFS was moot, because
DFS was not free software...
AND NOW IT IS!!! wheeeee!
