There's no CVSROOT, so 'cvs -d /afs/grand.central.org/project/openafs/cvs co openafs' doesn't seem to work..
For historical reasons, some modules are archived into /afs/grand.central.org/project/openafs, and some into /afs/grand.central.org/project/gco. CVSROOT is one of the latter.
