Please help me to refresh my memory, I have delays in fetch-data of 50 or so seconds - did we have a server side bug in 1.3.8x that makes this happen?
First packet is a fetch-status. After that client and server exchange ACKs every 10 seconds. Last packet is the answer. This may be working "as designed" but what is the server doing during these 50 seconds? I don't think my server is that much loaded, and I'm alone on my laptop client. serverOS is FC3 with own kernel.org based 2.6.11+srvp2. # /usr/openafs/sbin/rxdebug houting.pdc.kth.se 7000 -version Trying 130.237.232.194 (port 7000): AFS version: OpenAFS 1.3.81 built 2005-04-07 # /usr/openafs/sbin/rxdebug localhost 7001 -version Trying 127.0.0.1 (port 7001): AFS version: OpenAFS 1.4.0-rc5 built 2005-09-30 Trace from tcpdump (filtered with ethereal) of call 2972 is here: /afs/pdc.kth.se/home/h/haba/Public/openafs-fetchstatus1.cap Harald. _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-devel
