This isn't the right fix.  The man pages should be built as part of the
release process and included in the release tarball.  People building CVS
checkouts will need to have pod2man installed unless we want to add some
configure magic for that case, but just ignoring all errors will mean
we'll miss something important.


It isn't meant as a "fix", it's a "patch" which makes the build complain but generates a working AFS - be it ugly. I am aware that we're missing man pages afterwards.

In the past 15 years building AFS relied on roughly what's "standard" on the systems it supports, since OpenAFS at least once past the autoconf/automake stage. Build the man pages in the regen stage and we agree again.
