We are running Binc IMAP (www.bincimap.org) and its SMP machines with 2gig memory and 400meg cache. I have experimented with diffrent sizes and it has not affected the sock leak much. For what I know we don't have race conditions altho if there are hidden race conditions inside the kernel modules that can explain leakage of sock memory. Switching to non-SMP isn't really an option because we need the CPU for IMAP. -- Jerry Lundström, System Developer The Division of IT and media, Stockholm University, Sweden +46 (0)8 16 19 99 / http://www.it.su.se _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-devel
