Pre-1.4.1-rc7 have bugs related to the tracking of clients. Therefore, they initiate rx connections to the first port number they saw for the client which in 99% of the cases is 7001. Upgrading a small number of servers is much easier than replacing all of the NAT devices installed in the homes of all of the users. Jeffrey Altman
