Quoting Derrick J Brashear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
That would imply a special hook in the SPEC file for RHEL3. Right now
I have a single SPEC file that builds on all the supported RHEL and FC
systems.
What version of rpm broke conditionals in the specfile?
Show me an rpm conditional based on the OS version number. It's not like
there's a %{_osvers} macro that RPM provides to me. I have an external
helper script I use when building the full set of RPMS, but I don't want to
depend on that.
My current plan is to patch aclocal.m4. You're welcome to choose not to
accept that patch, but I still feel it's the best approach, even if it's
only relevant on RHEL3.
If you think that there's a decent SPECfile patch that fixes this, please
feel free to send me the diff.
