I built that on a system provided by Jeff Hutzelman. I'll log into it
and find out what uname -a says, can you tell me the same for yours?
Likewise, cc -V?
It failed on:
SunOS pistol.ctd.anl.gov 5.10 Generic_118833-03 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Sun-Blade-1500
and on
Our version was built on:
SunOS atalanta.it.anl.gov 5.10 Generic_118833-02 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240
%cc -V
cc: Sun C 5.8 2005/10/13
Hrm. The build machine in question is 5.10 s10_72, which is probably an
early-access release. Sun usually tries _very_ hard to maintain a stable
ABI within a kernel version, but that probably doesn't apply across the
EA/FCS boundary. Sorry; I had forgotten that machine was so old.
