Oh I'm with you on the MTU sizes bit. I've seen a lot of UDP apps out
there and none of them probe interfaces to grab MTUs. Heck, if it was
necessary to do that then the IP stack would do it for us. But this
another discussion for another day.
Doesn't IPv6 determine path MTU?
