There are few posts on the net reporting compile errors in 1.4.5 or 1.4.6.

last reference I saw said 'get the patch from CVS'. Well, I've tried. Really hard. But I have not succeeded in getting 1.4.6 to compile on my 2.6.24 kernel. Has anyone had better success? Can you share your secret? TIA
