I was referring to the ability of users to write 1MB beyond the quota limit. My guess is that there are some admins who are setting the quota to -1MB in order to prevent users from writing to the volume at all. Using a quota of 1 to mean this is perfectly reasonable but we would need to special case it. Jeffrey Altman
