Hi everybody, I'm running OpenAFS 1.4.6 under NetBSD 4.0.
I'm having some troubles with afs since about a month and decided to debug a little bit. While doing this I noticed some strange action my server was trying to perform, in my log I get this kind of stuff : Tue May 5 14:56:18 2009 --- alt address 192.168.254.42:7001 Tue May 5 14:56:18 2009 multiprobe failure with addr 192.168.254.42:7001 Tue May 5 14:56:19 2009 multiprobe failure with addr 192.168.254.42:7001 Tue May 5 14:56:19 2009 multiprobe failure with addr 192.168.254.42:7001 The main problem is that I don't have any network communication from a host with the ip 192.168.254.42. So the server is always trying to say something to the cache manager of this host althought it doesn't exist !!!!!!!! I got the same problem with two other ips : Tue May 5 14:59:27 2009 --- alt address 192.168.85.1:7001 Tue May 5 14:59:27 2009 --- alt address 192.168.75.1:7001 Here is some more log from the starts of the server, maybe that's usefull for the comprehension of the problem : Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 WhoAreYou success on 10.42.2.43:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 InitCallBackState3 success on 10.42.34.14:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 initInterfaceAddr : host 10.42.34.14:7001 numAddr 3 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 --- uuid 8c569092-6080-40ef-80-2e-9149758dd24e Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 --- alt address 10.42.34.14:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 --- alt address 192.168.85.1:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 --- alt address 192.168.75.1:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:56 2009 CB: RCallBackConnectBack succeeded for host 8d41000 (10.42.34.14:7001) Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 InitCallBackState3 success on 172.25.142.112:1260 Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 initInterfaceAddr : host 172.25.142.112:1260numAddr 1 Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 --- uuid 6f6af19a-395d-01df-ac-97-000c29cffcbd Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 --- alt address 192.168.254.42:7001 Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 --- alt address 172.25.142.112:1260 Tue May 5 14:04:57 2009 CB: RCallBackConnectBack succeeded for host 8d412f0 (172.25.142.112:1260) If anybody have an idea, I'd be glad to hear from you ;) If you need any other information, please let me know.
