Hello,
with the OpenAFS Linux client (32bit) version 1.6.0pre2 I am seeing the
following problem.
I wrote a test program, which will create 1 million files (and 1000 directories
to hold these entries).
With slabtop I was monitoring the size of "afs_inode_cache".
With OpenAFS 1.6.0pre2 the size of afs_inode_cache is growing until the
kernel dies. The number of objects in afs_inode_cache is the number of files
created so far.
I am seeing the same problem when reading such a directory tree (written with
OpenAFS 1.4.14), e.g. find <dir-with-1-million-files> ... will crash the OS.

Best,
HW
