Hi, I've been looking at the code for the Linux event handler, and I'm trying to work out why we're doing it all ourselves, rather than using the wait_event_freezable() macro. In particular, I'm keen to find out if there is a hidden gotcha with that macro, or if it is just that it didn't exist at the time the code was written.
