Hi Derek,

The challenge with a slave admin listserv is there there is only one or two people who administer each slave. Sending to a listserv of all slave admins would be noise for at least 75% of the members. Ideally, you send a targeted email to the admin for the particular slave that is having an issue. That's what happens behind the scenes. I've annotated each slave with the contact info in the master config at https://github.com/edgester/afsbotcfg/blob/master/master.cfg , but I removed the email addresses from the file to avoid spam. I could add the email addresses back to the file if that is desirable. The email addresses may be obfuscated or not.

Sincerely,
Jason

Stephan,

In light of the fact that there are two sets of admins, the "build
master" admins, and the "build slave" admins, I would propose that we
have two aliases, one for the former and one for the latter.

Hi Jason,

I like the latter one.

Thanks to you and everyone else involved in providing this essential service!

Hi everyone,

I'm taking suggestions for an email alias to the buildbot admins.

Current ideas are :
* buildmas...@buildbot.openafs.org or @openafs.org
* buildbot-adm...@openafs.org

Please note that each of the buildbot slaves may have a different
admin who is not the same as the buildbot master admins. The admins
of the buildbot master only control the list of slaves and what runs
on them.

Thanks,
Jason

I'm not opposed to the email alias, but I don't have the access to

build slaves are always welcome!

Any chance we could get an alias, like "buildmas...@buildbot.openafs.org"
or something that would reach you all?

PS: Would y'all like a Fedora-21 build slave?

Hi everyone,

I would like to thank Andrew Deason and Michael Meffie for volunteering
to help me with the buildbot master administration duties. Having
multiple admins ensures that we have better coverage. Please notify,
Michael, Andrew, and myself when reporting buildmaster issues.

Sincerely,
Jason
