i built the 1.0.4 client but we use aklog here to obtain tokens.  that
seems to be working for me.
on the other hand, authenticating to a plain afs cell spews:
'Unable to authenicate to AFS becuase server and client clocks are badly
skewed'
which is hardly true.  this bears more investigation i suppose.
