Hello, I just had the third volume corruption due to a copyonwrite failure in less than a week.
The first two failures happened on a 2.4.13+xfs+aacraid SMP kernel with xfs as /vicepx file system. After that I switched back to 2.2.19+aacraid SMP kernel and ext2. But this morning there was another copyonwrite failure. I am using Openafs 1.2.2. Output of /usr/afs/log/FileLog: > Wed Oct 31 00:35:52 2001 CopyOnWrite failed: volume 536871253 in partition > /vicepa (tried reading 8192, read 0, wrote 0, errno 4) volume needs salvage > Wed Oct 31 07:45:18 2001 VAttachVolume: volume salvage flag is ON for > /vicepa//V0536871253.vol; volume needs salvage > Wed Oct 31 07:45:28 2001 VAttachVolume: volume salvage flag is ON for > /vicepa//V0536871253.vol; volume needs salvage Could this problem somehow be related to the old linux-truncate-inode bug? Any ideas? Thanks, Marco Foglia _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
