They are load-balanced, cheap (cheap as in "IBM cheap" ;-)), so I'll be happy to add another one. Our fileservers, on the other hand, are expensive - so I want to offload the fileservers as much as possible to make sure that I can really stuff them with drives (they can do 1TB each, IIRC), instead of having a fileserver with 250Gb so loaded with AFS serving that I need to buy another one. Therefore, a large, even slower, cache is the best solution for our environment, methinks.
